Every spring, the International Crane Foundation of Baraboo sponsors an early morning count of sandhill cranes in Sauk County, Wisconsin. This once rare bird has again flourished with the help of organizations like this.

wow !!!! thankyou for this share , i found it very interesting , the crane is such an elegant bird both on the ground and in flight isn't it , and wow ...this man knows his stuff !!!!! all the different bird calls - amazing !!

I've been to the ICF numerous times and it is one of the wildlife programs that is working. Great job to all.
