How do you do the underside? I have a male Persian and I'm a little nervous about taking the clippers to his nether regions.

you can use 10 which is probally what she is using or if the matts are really bad you can use a 15...NEVER use a 7 its very dangerous!

I've been doing this for about a decade to my cat. I bought an Oster clipper and always stick with a size 10 blade. You can get them at Petsmart or online. Don't get that blade wet though because it rusts almost immediately and it's 40 bucks down the drain.
