@Wrath6909 i wont because no matter what the 360 costs a lot more than the PS3. but if they charge either itll be for players who want better stuff or if they make everyone pay itll probably be $2.50-$4 maybe. i doubt itll be the $5 the 360 has to pay a year

Sony has said in the past that any charges for psn would be for a "premium" service, that offers content above and beyond what psn currently does. It is highly unlikely that we will have to start paying for what we currently have, meaning the most important aspect of psn, online gaming, will stay free.

if ps3 begins charging for online, im abandoning my console for good and getting a 360 instead.

Don't get me wrong I'm still a PS3 guy, I'm just saying that if PS3 charges a lot of people are going to switch to Xbox 360...just sayin'.
