Does this woman even live in Alaska anymore? More importantly, given the rash of right-wing violence, what is she trying to do with her latest round of inflammatory rhetoric?

Letterman's explanation of his jokes is valid and it stands. It needs no further clarification from me. I also have no intention of showing sarah palin or her remarks.. sarah fans, go away.

This Sarah Palin is absolutely disgusting. The broad smile on her face as she slanders and claws at her enemy with denunciations more fittingly coming from Mussolini, Stalin or an Ayatollah. It reveals her true intentions, which have nothing to do with the safety or self-esteem of young women. Her parenting skills to date prove that beyond a shadow of a doubt. Her rejection of any common-sense legislation to HELP young women proves that. Sarah Palin cares about her daughters? As what, campaign props?

And everyone with a brain and a conscience watched in horror as foamy-mouthed loons screamed insane accusations and death-threats against Barack Obama during last year's Presidential campaign while Palin smiled and egged them on. Many of us gave her the benefit of the doubt at the time, assuming she didn't hear what we clearly heard. Even after the audio was played on TV over and over again, the scene would repeat itself. And Palin said NOTHING to discourage violence.

For those of you who didn't know, the angry, rabid, far-far right has long-ago declared David Letterman to be an 'enemy'. He was trashed regularly in the bubbling cauldron of out-of-the-mainstream hate blogs. And Letterman has already been victimized by stalkers and a violent ex-con who targeted his baby son. And in a wider scope, we now openly fret about the danger coming from the far right, after 3 cops, 2 deputies, a security guard and a women's clinic doctor were murdered at the hands of right-wing hate.

Are we to believe that Sarah Palin DOESN'T know what she is playing with? Her "Liberal Media" enemies are "perverts" and pedophiles? Where have we heard THAT before? As I said earlier, Palin's behavior suggests a fascist dictator swinging a machete on a balcony, working an angry crowd, denouncing the scapegoats as a threat to one and all. Her denunciations again invoke this idiotic notion of a "real America" that is always under attack from "those people" in New York and Hollywood, a "real America" that never really existed except in conservatard propaganda. The targets have broadened slightly, but we've heard all of this before in fascist rants over the past century or so: Liberals, and "those people" in New York and Hollywood.

We know what you mean, Sarah. We know what you intend. If something unspeakable happens, the responsibility will be primarily YOURS. And, by extention John McCain's, for he sprang you upon this nation without fully examining your background. A background of soap opera politics, back-stabbing, power-grabbing, attempting book-banning, witch-doctors, anti-American separatism. Have you ever done anything GOOD?
