The Anti-Corruption Advisory Board appeared to soften its earlier hardline stand against the surprise move by the President saying there was little it could do to overturn the Presidents decision and that Ringera would have to remain in the office until the matter was resolved. The Board at the same time said it had suspended the formalization of contracts and setting out of terms of service of the Director and his two assistants which it had set in motion.
