so the lowest income people (who actually pay taxes) had their rate dropped from 15% to 10%.

the wealthest people who paid 39.6% in taxes ahd thiers lowered to 35%.

so the richest people who used to pay a tax rate 2.64 times higher than the lowest income people now pay a tax rate 3.5 times higher than the lowest income people.

The net result is that the rich pay more in % of total taxes now than they did before the tax cut.
