Or you'd even respect a Prius/Leaf if you know the advantages a car without internal combustion (and thus no need for a proper air/fuel ratio) can have when faced with elevation changes; Pikes Peak has electric written all over it, I'd wager, in a few years.

@slab42 that typically means intake/exhaust and ecu tune. Mine is a stage 2 wrx: catback exhaust, intake redone, up/downpipe and moderate ecu tune. Net gain for me? 90 hp, 85 lb-ft tq.

Heavily modified WRX my ass... More like a "lightly modified WRX" just like your neon... A WRX that's heavily modified would put that neon to shame!
