The bears will welcome the no hunting zones created. The mountain caribou will thank the resort for creating an alternative to logging pristine valleys that are essential to their survival. And the rest of us will be able to carve it up for less than the $750 for 3 runs it costs now to heli-ski there...locals will have discounted passes and will ski there cheaper than it costs to 4x4 in and buy touring equip&avalanche courses...16% of the Kootenays is protected in parks - go ski tour them...

Its a real shame that this place may be lost in a few years time! If the developers get their way, Bye Bye Grizzley Bears, Bye Bye Rams, Bye Bye Wolves, Bye Bye Badgers. All of us who have skied here our whole lifes for free will now have to pay $100 + for a lift pass. I pray to god it will never happen but their money is helping them get their way
