The Barber really stands out. I didn't even remember there was a Copland concerto. Limejuicy. Barber is somehthing & that glorious old fashioned violin concerto too. Copland didn't write enough for violin and cello! This poor thing is N E V E R played. Wuorinen and da rest fine !!! The Variations & Passacaglia thats where its at!

@bartje11 And, forgive me my French, that was bloody great idea. My favourite of american piano concertos is the one of Barber, but this is marvelous too. Much, much obliged.

You are welcome! I took that photo last spring and while looking at that skyline I had Copland's concerto in my head and decided then and there to post it as such.
