Hearing Gus call all those NCAA Tourney games made them that much more epic.
The fact that CBS let Johnson go, spurning a promotion to #1 play-by-play man in favor of the aging monotony of Nantz, is a travesty of monumental proportions. The absence of Gus's voice, style, & unparalleled enthusiasm from the Tourney will be glaringly conspicuous and sorely missed.
The crony corporate guard chose to go mono over Dolby Surround. Brilliant move, CBS.
