  • @lolcat23 cont... so please show me which third world nation is better now compared to before they were colonized. What mythical country is this that is better off as a third world country AFTER the first world raped the resources?

Your point is like pointing at the rich and saying, "look at how great their healthcare is, therefore healthcare must be good on all levels", even though a doctor visit used to be affordable for everyone.

  • @lolcat23 The average chinese person, most likely lives longer, but at the cost to the third world. You are proving my point, that the first world nations are doing great, but the third world nations are doing worse than before we colonized them. Why not watch a documentary on this, there are millions out there. Hell, netflix has a bunch. "The End of Poverty?" is one such documentary. We have gotten a better lifestyle, at the cost of millions of lives in third worlds. cont...

  • @lolcat23 awesome, so now you are going to insult me? which is more of a sign of you either lacking understanding or realizing you are wrong. Your last two posts have been to say that I don't know what I am talking about rather than addressing the issue at hand. You claim I am doing bs assumptions, would you mind pointing out which ones are BS assumptions?

  • @bluefootedpig could you be coherent? you wander all over the place in this post, from bs assumptions you claim most have, to strawman conclusions based on those assumptions, to strange lines of reasoning.

  • @lolcat23 Pot is illegal for political reasons, not for health for religious. As far as today and life, your sights are small then. You must be missing half the world that does not live the good life. There is only a small percentage of the world that lives a better life, and it is on the backs of the lower people. Look at how many million die each year due to no clean water, yet pepsi drains all the clean water from their areas so that you can have the good life of bottled water. 10k / day

  • @lolcat23 I don't see how you conclude that I know very little about geopolitics, as I would estimate I know more than the average person. It is that most don't understand the history of religion as it integrates into the political sphere. For example, most thing that the church is somehow immune from corruption, so then when a government that is ran by religion says something, suddenly that is taken as a reflection of said religion. That is a sign of not understanding.

  • @lolcat23 Yes, that can be the case. But to a utilitarian, liberty has a price, same with life. You merely need to calculate that.

  • @bluefootedpig Here you have a really good example of something thats illegal but for no moral reason. Why is it supposed to be bad to smoke pot? If you really cant see that the normal person living today has a much better chance at a good life than before then i see no point in carrying on this discussion.

  • @bluefootedpig What? this is utter and complete rubbish. It IS basically saying "we think this" and thats the ONLY reason it still is valid. about 100 years. lol. From this post, it seems you know very little on how geo-politics work, what makes things change and what changes.

  • @bluefootedpig Again, some strange example which shows nothing more than that a country is more expensive to run than what cowboys could imagine. there were no roads then, no electric powergrids etc. So again, a pretty strange and bad example.
