  • Thanks! I saw them live around 1976 twice- at the San Diego Sports Arena and the Community Concourse opening for Elvin Bishop.

ps - I'll try to post it with me playing along with the CD. Meantime, ck out Munkybarz on youtube playing it and 50+ other songs - excellent bassist!

  • Electric bass + plectrum = shitty tone. If you can't play it fingerstyle, don't bother.

  • Much eastier to play than Davidsinrocks's version XD

    you are a great teacher.

  • y are u useing a pick?

  • Great lesson, thanks.

  • fan do tiozão do kansas

  • Awesome song want to learn it

  • Thanks for the good lesson, this song is alot of fun to slap, but I guess what song isn't

  • Thank you very much for posting this, it helped me fill in the "blanks" when learning this song. While reasonably capable of playing stuff, alot of us out here are unable to hear exactly what`s going on in songs in order to learn them properly. By all means post more 70`s rock bass lines in a lesson format as you did here (if you need suggestions, I have a few ;) ). Thanks again.

  • Very good! Thank you! - I downloaded the video to slow it down(to finger it out), but ive been doing a lot more drills and its really improving my playing.

    Thank you!

  • have you ever played a real guitar B4, if not I'd surgest getting just one of those £100 starter pack's, just in case you don't get on with it then when it ends up in the garage you aint spent £100's of pounds on it, thats what i did and slowly over time i have upgraded to a better speaker, better guitar usb leads for recording direct to the pc to cut out back ground noise ect.
