I was on a cruise in Oct. and was called out of my stateroom by Security from the ship. Had an issue with a retailer in port not charging me in the correct currency. Was told it was ok to go fix it and they had the doors closed and were going to leave us but at the last minute opened the doors and let us on we weren't happy about the sitiuation and actually had a meeting with the upper staff members later that evening. Let's just say they took care of us because their security screwded up!!!

Too bad. I would have made it back early. I wonder who was the cause of this? Guys are not normally into shopping.

Love this video! I embedded it in my blog post that I just wrote titled, "When should I return to the cruise ship after my day in port?" Unfortunately, new cruisers and even some veteran cruisers make the mistake of thinking that the ship will wait for them, but as we can see here, the ship will leave with or without you.

That's terrible. I wouldn't know what to do if I'd gotten stuck in a strange country. Luckily my hometown is an hour away by ferry from Nassau so I'd gotten one the next ferry available.

@WelshTurnip94 I do not believe so, as I'm pretty sure we never slowed down for any one or any reason after leaving.
