Tim Bishop Protest, Setauket, NY

On June 22, 2009, a protest took place at the Setauket town hall where congressman Tim Bishop spoke to angry Long Island residents about creating a carbon tax to save the environment. Protesters felt that such a tax would increase the price of auto and home heating fuel to $7.00 a gallon and the money would not go to good use. Bishop seemed unset with the residents feelings and continued to spread his propaganda about global warming. As police escort Bishop to his car our news crew followed up to ask him questions, watch what he had to say.
