Bye Bye, Mariah Carey, China Earthquake Aid

Over60，000 people died from the earthquake in Sichuan and neighboring provinces of Shaanxi, Gansu, and Yunnan and the death toll could reach far higher as the search and rescue effort continued. It was the worst natural disaster hitting the region in the last three decades. The damage to the property in the vast region is beyond estimation.

I pray for the lives that were lost in this disaster and their families and thank the people who were helping and still are helping with the relief and rebuilding efforts you people are the real heroes...I pray for you and your family there is no words that can express what I feel about this.......

I have lots of relatives living in Sichuan and my Grandfather came from there. I hope they'll rebuild their homes and lives soon. I also heard a very triumphant story about a man in Beichuan when the earthquake hits his family was killed instantly, but right away he went and help out the other people in need and just to think that after the disaster relief is done he can have a home to go back to but no family will be waiting for him..that is tragic, he and many people who helped out are heroes
