Thanks! this one wasn't too bad -- I think just 4 chords thru the whole song. There's some other folks out here doing rock classics on mandolin, you might find them enjoyable.

first time i've ever seen or heard some one play on a mandoline wicked job

That's great to hear -- Thanks! and good luck with "I'll Follow into the Dark". I'm looking forward to hearing your rendition.

I love following your post! You and I have very simular taste in music! I'm working on copying your cover of "I'll Follow You Into The Dark" after you originally inspired me to do Scarborogh Fair. Keep up the great work! shanegalang2

I learned HOMES about the same time I learned FACE and Every Good Boy Does Fine for the treble clef. Also we focused more on geography when I was in school. I was blown away when my then teen granddaughter asked me where Canada was. I bought her a globe the very next day.

@annadams95340 nice. I'd love to have my old globe from when I was a kid, and look at a new one, and see how things have changed (names, etc).

My older son learned the names of the Great Lakes from this song and sang them when he was quizzed in class. Teacher was Gordy fan and very impressed.
