The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald mandolin - Gordon Lightfo

A beautifully sad lament about the real-life account of the fate of the Edmund Fitzgerald. I've been in that part of the country in November.. My first recollection of the song was, after they played the Eagles Live album on the radio, they led directly into this song afterward. Great memory.

I learned HOMES about the same time I learned FACE and Every Good Boy Does Fine for the treble clef. Also we focused more on geography when I was in school. I was blown away when my then teen granddaughter asked me where Canada was. I bought her a globe the very next day.
