First guy to master the insulin/GH combo. Look how much he improved from the year prior. I remember these photos came out when I was like 18 and everyone at my gym was passing around the magazine. He was so hardcore and I liked the fact that he had so so genetics and with intensity, and of course pioneered the insulin era, was able to beat guys with better genetics.

This is when its too big, his waist is huge. in the 70s the bodys looked the best. They had nice waists back then they didnt just look like gorrillas, they looked like greek statues
