Rangel Refuses To Guarantee Pelosi Health Bill Will Protect Sanctity of Life

In an exchange during debate over in Speaker Pelosis government takeover of health care, House Republican Leader John Boehner (R-OH) asked Ways and Means Chairman Charlie Rangel (D-NY) if he would guarantee abortion opponents that Rep. Bart Stupaks (D-MI) amendment barring federal funding of abortion will not be jettisoned from the bill by Democratic congressional leaders in House-Senate conference negotiations if the Pelosi bill passes the House with the Stupak amendment attached.

Keep the heat on Mr. Boehner. That's chairmen so far that have answered you the same. They CAN'T guarantee that the language will stay in teh bill, so they WON'T. They know the nature of the committee process the same as you do. Keep pushing the point, maybe those pro-life Democrats will vote no. KILL THE BILL!!!

u do know, since ur not dimwitted, that a court of law is the only constitutionally empowered mechanism by which guilt is "proven?" u can't use the stuff that spews out of your head as "proof"

Most of the people who will benefit from this do not make enough $ to even pay taxes. What are we gonna do when the rich folks' money runs out? They are not gonna continue to make large amounts of $ just to fork it over to those they see as freeloaders. Then what?

...and forget the abortion arguement, now a Gov't panel wants to quash mammograms until you reach 50. A new report says it is unnecessary to screen for breast cancer, self exams, mgrams are all unneccesary. This is who you are trusting your life to? Rangle is a clown. He is of the incubant ilk that bilk, rhymes... This is a prime example of how this country is so screwed up. I will be forced to pay additional taxes while Mr. worldly forgets to pay for his offshore villas. Like Geitner, and the other tax fraud champs, the new administration of change is worse than it has ever been. It is truly sad that we are selling out to China to secure power in Washington.
