Grete Pasch is an expert in metadata design, academic libraries, computer systems implementation, digitization projects, rich media production, digital library management, e-learning, and higher education. She is currently vice dean of the Central Library at Effat University in Saudi Arabia. Previously, she was director of Academic Information Resources and the Ludwig von Mises Library at Universidad Francisco Marroquín in Guatemala.

She also founded and directed UFM's New Media department. Pasch was director of the Learning Resource Center of The Scholar Ship and information technology consultant at the Texas State Library & Archives (TSLAC).

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)

  • Estimada Grete,

    Me encanto tu plática.

  • @akalchev It's because you don't like books

  • Value for me from this talk is zero. Just a boring story. This talk is a sure cure for insomnia.
