PORK + COKE = WORMS? WTF?! IS IT REAL?

There's are a couple of videos doing the rounds on the internet which suggests that if you leave a piece of pork in Coca-Cola for two hours, then all the worms which live in the pork die and come to the surface.

This looked a teensy-weensy bit suspicious. So we devised a repeat test in our dining room.

There are two videos out there which show this, but they both have problems: The first has cuts in it (allowing the meat to be tampered with out of shot), and the second is a static image which looks like images of worms have been superimposed later.

Ours is one single two-hour shot (speeded up, obviously!) with a close examination of the meat afterwards. My son and I hope you enjoy it!

People who hunt and cook wild boar can get worms from the meat. My grandson knew a man who hunted wild boar and did this experiment. It took 5 minutes for many worms to come to the surface.

Nice job. Made me try it myself with a somewhat fatty piece. Nothing moving after 2 hours. Baked it up and ate ate it. now worries execept that Coke sucks as a marinade
