i have no affiliation to WVU, but I felt genuinely bad for White, Slaton, Schmitt et al after this one. When you see how many games this program has won, and yet how few chances they have to be #1, it shows you how few programs actually can say" we'll get em next year" WVU won't have another chance for 20 years.

Although, if the damn eers fans wouldn't have sent death threats to Pat McAfee, I might have felt even more sympathy

Cincinnati won't need the refs to beat Pitt. Regardless, If Pitt doesn't beat Cincy, they're in the 4th best BE bowl. Reality sucks sometimes.

Would you like to bet that a team who finishes the 2nd highest ranking in the Big East will end up in the 4th Big East bowl? You realize that if Pitt beats Cincy, Cincy gets the Gator, and WVU gets the car care bowl. Lets hope the refs dont try to screw Pitt like they tried in '07 at WVU.
