@midnight347 I have a 94 GT Vert w minor botl-ons a 4R70W swap with a shift kit and running 3.73s. I ran a rhd integra type R with a 16g turbo and a full HKS kit, running 8psi and he only pulled me by a finder when he got to 3rd gear and I stayed with him the whole way. Sad thing is all I need is a 100hp wet shot and I'd pull on him hard. I weighed my car with me in it and it weighs right at 3,538ibs and I weigh a good 220 ibs. The guy had about $6k in his and I only have maybe $2500.
by the way I drive the heavy so-called "shitty" 94-95 body style...if I were in an lx coupe the results would be even worse for the poor teg and the rsx. the 94s only weight about 150 or so pounds more than the fox gt...probably about 200 and some more than an lx coupe. so they're not these big pigs everyone makes them out to be. mines like 3200+...nothing compared to the 4000 pound muscle cars of today...they might all have 400 horses but its' only gonna take me about 325 to beat em
and if you want to talk about technology talk about the new 2011 Mustang GT...5.0 dohc 6 speed...412 hp and 390 ft/lbs or torque with NO supercharger or nitrous...lets see a 4 banger do that. on the other hand back in 87 when these 225 hp, 300 lbs/ft or torque tangs were introduced...did you see any hondas period smoking them? no...not even close...the teg is quick for what it is but you have to understand when each one came out...ford took some time off in the late 90s but are back on strong
@1want2see a 4 banger can be a shitty ragged out v8 with a non driver behind the wheel....i don't see too many gsrs outrunnin me with my full bolt on 94 gt 5.0 5 speed...it's completely stock from upper and lower itake to oil pan but has all external bolt ons...do the same to the teg and come holla at me. not every car is the same not every driver is the same. i know because put like 4 or 5 cars on my buddies intake and exhaust gsr...even an intake and exhaust rsx couldn't do it...b4 the tbody

@midnight347 my coupes a 88 5.0 and i weighed it,it was 2976. the problem with the 94-95 is ford added weight and gave them less hp.
