The Rev. James M. Lawson, a civil rights movement leader and Distinguished University Professor at Vanderbilt University, delivering a University Seminar on Religion and Culture, sponsored by Vanderbilt's Center for the Study of
Religion and Culture. The lecture was titled "Moving Ourselves from Unknown Peril to Noble Vision."
The lecture took place April 11, 2007 in Benton Chapel on the Vanderbilt campus.
I got to meet Reverend Lawson a few years ago while he spoke at the St. John Baptist church in Tacoma, I am grateful to have met and learned from people like him.

This is an excellent lecture. This is one of my greatest "heros".
Thanks for the post,
