these are beautiful during the day, but when it does this every night from 11pm - 6 AM it can drive people crazy

It's 1:13 AM here on the East Coast and this mockingbird nearby will not quit! I don't mind, though. To be honest, I love it! =) I'm playing bits of this video and pausing every now and then just to mess with him. I think my human neighbors might be getting a little annoyed with me, however.

True story, woke up from a deep sleep last night around 1:30am to these bird calls... I legit got up, found the tree and shook it a little to startle the bird. 1 point for me, but I'm sure I'll lose several points & hours of sleep later this week to the N Mockingbird. D'oh!

@Reacher81 I had one that would chirp loud as all heck at 3am until 3pm. Id leave for school dead tired because I couldn't sleep anymore, walk back home and it would still be chirping away. I'd shine a flashlight in the tree and it would stop but as soon as that flashlight went out it went right back to chirping.
