What would be the definition of starving exactly? Those people aren't so hungry they've stopped breeding. And they won't stop either, especially if you help them (have more children). There isn't an infinite supply of money to feed the poor, but responsible reproductrive choices are virtually free.

It may not be PC, but as long as people who have no means of feeding a child still have children, there will always be starving children. It's not possable to feed an infinite number of mouths. I can't afford to take care of a child, I'm not having one, pretty fucking simple. Of course if someone gets raped or something, it's not their fault, but people need to stop breeding like rats.

Actually, I live in my car, I'm just lucky that my dad got me a smart phone.

The damn Republicans always think that the poor are just lazy even though many of them have two jobs and still barely have enough to get by and don't have health insurance. They think that taxing thier private jet is punishing them for being rich and "redistribution of wealth" because poor people aren't really poor because they still have refrigerators, tv's, and phones. When your country has a 3rd world distribution of wealth, it's time to do some redistribution.

makes me sick when people smash things on youtube you know what i mean

The reason many of those children grow up in poverty is because their governments have destroyed private property rights. That's the major difference between the industrialized world and the countries in poverty. It's been well-documented.

I'm going back to Thailand this Sept. Not as a tourist, but as a volunteer. Going to assist children with English & math in Nong Khai Province.

Given the chance to remake the world and organize it intelligently so that each human being's suffering is minimized and absolutely no-one goes homeless, without food or a basic income, 99% of men with the authority and power to affect this change will reject or squander the opportunity to do so. They will use religion or science, God or Nature, as their intellectual justification. This is the sad truth. But you are right, to do something small is better than nothing at all. There's always hope.

Me and my mom, have both our distance adopted kid, from Africa.
I'm happy, if I can allow somebody to have a decent life, for a small fee, seriously I could adopt more of them, but I'm far from being rich or something.
I think that this should be our duty, for each one of us who were fortunate enough to have a decent civilezed life to help other to achive that too.
More poeple should do so, even though the real fault is in the system, this should change first to make an effective difference...
ok, so what have u done to help out?
