Neither are anything special. The skinny guy appears to be better though. The big guy is sloppy with no control.
-
Senpai Lee is far from sloppy...the other guy is for not blocking his face...
-
you are sadly mistaken if you think sempai lee is sloppy.

However, S. Lee is a stong student. His weakness is a lack of consistent training. If he would consistently train, he could go far. But this weakness holds him back. These videos are to say these are great fighters, but for us to review our strengths and weakness and to make ourselfs stronger.
Thank you, Sensei Curtis Boyd

Having been there, both made mistakes. Aoi (the one who scored first) is keeping his hands too low, but his movement is better. Having said that, he did potentialy score (by current WKF standards) with a chudan mawashigeri. Aka showed a complete lack of understanding of distance and control when he then hit aoi in the face. At an international level, that punch would have never counted. Regardless of whether or not aka could have scored off of the punch, he should have controlled it. Fault, Aka.

Osu. Aka is my student. This was a poor kumite match. He should not have hit Aoi in the face. Should have had control. However, this was not an international tournament. He has only been in a few tournaments. He is not an international fighter. Aoi should have his hands up. The face is a target. You don't cover it you can get hit. I agree, good kumite should have more control to the face, but it happens sometimes. All the comments on this video! Neither are expert fighters.
