The shield could be based on a buckler. Granted if that were case it'd be attached to his forearm. maybe it's a Scottish shield sans the 2ft spike in the middle.

wats the difference between deluxe leader abd voyager

deluxe: smaller and simple to transform.
voyager: big and not so simpeler than deluxe.
Leader: huge, hard to transform (at start) and sound fx.
