OBAMA: HC Bills "VIOLATED" Pledge

"Our approach would preserve the right of Americans who have insurance to keep their DOCTOR and their PLAN", he said during State of the Union. Two days later, he admitted (Obamacare) would not allow people to keep their doctor and plan when speaking at the House Republican Retreat. Thanks for saying what we conservatives have been saying at TEA Parties and Town Halls since last summer!

Without his quadrupling of Bush's deficit (who never was very fiscally savvy or conservative) the movement would have never got legs.

We don't care who the politician is, republican, democrat, (that may be redundant) black or white, we just don't think we are getting our VALUE out of the taxes we pay. Simply put - our politicians spend OUR money STUPIDLY!

All we ask is that our politicians spend OUR money like it was their OWN!

@ChimpBama Good points! However, the last sentence could be taken two ways, "they spend OUR money like it was there OWN". We both know It's not a revenue problem, it's a lavish spending problem by the ruling class (progressives)...Bush played along...that has driven us into enormous debt. Now, they simply want to double down on policies that have failed, like the NOT SO shovel ready jobs. Govt produces NOTHING, yet stands to kills jobs by sucking money from the private sector.

All existing gov programs are over budget and going bankrupt, the country is thirteen trillion in debt. Actually, I personally know a thoughtful Democrat that had a similar reaction to Obama. He figured that b/c O was unqualified and the party backed him regardless, he vowed to never vote Democrat again. And he is a retired Union worker and (now formerly) a life-long Democrat! No joke!....but what, did hell freeze over?! LOL

@hawkermustang First I want to say that I agree with you, it makes no sense at all. But I think it's a bit harsh to say all Democrats should be taxed. You're neglecting the ones who don't support any of this. For instance myself. I saw this asshole for what he was and didn't vote him in, and I certainly don't support this proposal. @Canuckism101 Freedom loving patriots, like myself, wish there was a place to escape to if/when our rights are no longer protected. As Reagan once said, "This is the last stand on Earth, if we lose freedom here there is no place to go". I REALLY miss Reagan! That guy could speak and did make intelligent decisions that actually made us proud to be an American. Today, we have the "anti-Reagan" in charge. However, there is hope for Tea Party reps to shake things up in DC!
