This is the rare stereo version of Neil Diamond's Kentucky Woman from the 1978 Frog King/Columbia House LP "Early Classics." This was a hit for Neil back in 1967 on the Bang Records label and it peaked at #22 on the charts. Copyright 1967 Sony Music Entertainment and Neil Diamond

  • @jojopuppyfish Thanks for the comment

  • The first time I've heard this in True Stereo! Now,if Columbia/Legacy will follow-through with a CD Version of this down the road,I'll be in Heaven!

  • @mrmjb1960 Thanks for the comment

  • In fact, Cherry Cherry does exist in stereo.

  • There is a website called Neil Diamond on Bang Records that you can Google to find the URL and it has all of the Bang Records stereo mix information.

  • Great song! I have a cat that I nick-named Kentucky woman...she fits the lyrics to a "t". I love that little gal!!!! I sing this to her all the time...she loves it!

  • A True American Treasure and Legend!

  • 1966-72 era (Bang & UNI) Neil Diamond is his best work, IMHO - better than his later Columbia releases. All spanning a career that has lasted as long as I've been alive (45 years in totality). Congratulations on your R&RHoF nomination, Neil!

    Bravo, Neil Leslie Diamond!

  • i love him

  • thanks for a pretty song.

  • I have this album, including the songbook, which came with it. It's truly the best Neil Diamond record out there. If you don't already have it, it's an excellent find.
