JOHN SCOTT: John McCain was rebuked by uh members of the Senate in the Keating 5 scandal is it relevant to whats going on today?

MIKE DUHAIME: I think a big difference between what theyre accusing Senator McCain of being a part of, Senator McCain, during that time stood up in front of cameras, in front of all the reporters and said I will sit here for hours and hours and I will talk to you about everything I know about this, I will answer every single question that the press has about the association with Charles Keating, that was 20 years ago and the big issue there is transparency, he was wiling to answer questions from the press. Barack Obama has never talked about this, hes put campaign spokesmen out to yell about it, the bottom line whenever there is something that is politically expedient, Barack Obama does the politically expedient thing. When it was politically expedient to go to Bill Ayers house to try to launch his campaign, hes at Bill Ayers house as soon as it becomes a problem, he casts him overboard. Barack Obama has never made a tough vote, hes never bucked his party on anything. He always does what is politically expedient for him

John McCain has never taken the easy road, you can look at his entire political career, or his entire life, this is someone who truly is a leader, this is someone who does what he thinks is right no matter which way the political winds are going.

I think it ultimately will come down to character and its very hard to question Senator McCains character and I think the more you look at Barack Obama, someone that people dont know a whole lot about, the more questions they legitimately have.
