The Sound of Music

From September, 2002 until February, 2003 Tommy played the role of the eleven year old Kurt von Trapp in the musical version of the "Sound of Music". After the try-outs in Bussum in The Netherlands on September 22, 2002 Tommy played the première in "Royal Theater Carré" in Amsterdam. On that evening also the recordings of the cd took place. Afer that night Tommy played another 25 times for a sold-out Theater Carré. The critics on the première were extremely positive and the musical got 3 Awards in 2003.

This is one of my very favorite productions of 'The Sound of Music'! I have the cast recording, even though I don't speak Dutch. :) And I think the group of kids featured in this video is close to being the best stage cast I've ever seen.
