http://www.free-self-hypnosis.org DON'T TRY THIS IF YOU ARE NERVOUS. Use stereo heaphones, use high quality format. 20 more vids coming soon. The brain waves are generated using a 341 Hz sine wave, played into the right ear and a 313 Hz, into the left ear, the brain is entrained towards the beat frequency (28 Hz, in the beta range) in mp3. The sensation of binaural beats originates in the superior olivary nucleus, a part of the brain stem. They appear to be related to the brain's ability to locate the sources of sounds in three dimensions and to track moving sounds, which also involves inferior colliculus neurons. The isochronic pulses work in a similar way but using a difference of two beats, and also designed to produce theta brain waves.

  • @mohamedhazemohamed I just had to learn this for an exam. Basically the nerves in your brain can all fire in rhythm. The frequency of the rhythm (fast or slow) depends on whether you are awake and alert, awake and relaxed or asleep. When you listen to beta waves (fast rhythm) your nerves synchronise and start firing in the same rhythm, so you're making your brain mimic the effect of being alert.

  • @Rikriel That's correct; in fact there is such a thing as panic attacks/epilepsy from specific sounds. Next-door brain cells can fire at the same time in a rhythmic fashion, and if you have epilepsy that causes a domino effect through a large part of the brain.

There is a list of frequencies for epileptics to avoid; I know low to mid beta as well as delta waves can be dangerous for some. It's ok because 6-10 hertz become most peoples' favorite; just close eyes and chill

  • @CarnageFan lol my 1st time with a light sound machine was on MDMA when I was 17 and that was the craziest. I still want to buy one but I'll probably make one with radioshack parts...

  • Not advisable to listen too after consuming heavy street drugs.....I'M TRIPPIN THE FUCK OUT LMAO

  • @dariobowl It was for the Neuroscience module in my Biochemistry degree. The university I go to specialise in biological rhythms so a big part of the module covered it.

  • @Rikriel for what class?

  • @QuinnyBoy95 Thank you for your honesty, we appreciate it:)

  • holy crap.

  • this is fucking awesome

  • would high quality earphones work?

  • @GraceFaded then how come adrenalin induces arousal? it can only induce emission (ejaculation) via alpha1 receptors
