Duct tape ? There's no duct tape on there. The squirrels would have chewed that off if the weather didn't get to it first.
No, I had used a glass cookie jar and had a plumbing attachment that could be screwed into the lid and secured from the other side with a male attachment.
I've got a more squirrel one in mind but I haven't seen any chipmunks yet at my new townhouse. And i've been here for years. :-/

The feeder in this video wasn't quite squirrel proof. I've had to secure the lid because they kept twisting it off and a black squirrel even got stuck in the pipe ! It had managed to squeeze in because it was soaked by rain.
I've got all of the material so all I need to do now it to find the time...
