Hunh?
Not everything has to be political, you know. And I get the feeling that Ernie will find some way of talking Bert out of any future cookie without much trouble.
In fact there was a sketch where Bert did have an entire cabinet full of cookies just for himself, It was marked with a big B for Bert and off-limits for Ernie...--unitl Ernie opened it and changed the letter to a capital E as he helped himself to the cookies.
Never underestimate a smart-aleck.

Thank you very much for the heads up!

@Smartboy8877 They're an animated meerkat and warthog duo. Look them up and watch the movie they're both in sometime.

I have never heard of Timon and Pumba. Who are they?
-
lol this sketch is 1000x funnier when you imagine it as a political allegory
-
HO HO HO HO HOLD IT! LOL
-
Yep!
-
Bert: "Oh, yeah, yeah, sure. I'LL take the half cookie; and YOU can have whatever crumbs happen to fall onto the floor!" o x-D
-
Ernie's look at the end: "W-w-what happened, did I miss something here? What was that all about?!"
Not shown: Bert's completely full larder, stocked with more cookies than he will ever be able to eat in his entire life, while Ernie starves on the street.
If this video is liberalism, then that's capitalism.
