I wasn't aware there was a moral obligation to give certain individuals a certain amount of money from ones paycheck. Can you show me the objective proof of this? To say his father is a criminal is the same as calling a run away slave a criminal. Sure, both may "be" criminals, but only because the current "law" says so. The law has nothing to do with the morality and reality of the situation though.

Well, I suspect that some of these libertarians and other conservatives are merely selfish and there's no way that kind of selfishness would have been tolerated much in most of the 200,000 years of human prehistory. I find these perspectives as equally realistic as communism, as both ignore human nature and the fact that their visions will never come to be, at least as long as human nature is as it is.
