Orfeo & Euridice: the Greek mythology as Gluck's opera. Orfeo's love for his wife Euridice could made possible Euridice to come back to life on earth from the dead that took her to the underworld of the death kingdom. Euridice was bitten by a snake while running away from Apollo's pressure. A force more than she could handle. Many young women nowdays are pressured to be a super- woman. The world demands them to be beyond their means of to be smart, successful and physically beautiful and desirable. But their attempt could be a just vain struggles. In the end they are bitten by the depression that leads them to smoking, drinking and drugging themselves into an addiction or death. If there is a strong LOVE /love from their men like the way Orfeo had for Euridice.... will sure to make them to endure and could survive from spiritual, mental, emotional and even early physical death. This perhaps could be vis-a-vis with men whom are also doubly pressured to make things going for their lives as the world spins and demands more faster and more complex in each growing day.
Takako: I favor and love so much how she plays this particular piece. I feel the controlled calmness yet expressing all of its sweet sadness of emotion as if telling of a story that is long long time ago. There is no over dramatized emotion of one's feel. This quality is what draws me to her playing above all other famed perofrmers of this piece.

  • Oh please! How useless are these sweeping statements presuming to judge the lives of whole populations, ie "young women." That's millions upon millions of people! Their lives aren't all the same. The popular press has to grind out 500 words a day with not much care about source data, but nobody has to believe that! One grows tired of hearing that achievement will make you crazy. Nice video, though. Perhaps LaMar should stick to what she does well.

  • And it is not the "Achievement " that will make you crazy.... but Traying to Achieve and not making it will......

  • what a lovely description you have placed on this. I agree with you that many women are trying to be super-women and it does lead to depression. Something soft has been lost in the youth today and replaced by a sick sad soul. Very lovely video.

  • Thanks !!!

For sharing and understanding of my feelings in same way.

  • at 00:46 it looks like an edward cullen and a savannah from dear john. o.0 oh my lolz

  • i like this one i guess :)

  • But then, I wasn't relying on slim public data. I am also not an easy buyer of publicly fed data with a big and small names behind it. It is rather more from my own observation of close proximate in daily life.

  • No, sometimes it is the responsibilities that come with the achievement that press hard. I have observed that people who succeed and stand up to it are good at knowing what help to hire, and at finding people to hire. From child care to office management to house cleaning, to dry cleaners who pick up and deliver -- now there's some folks who can save you from the crazies! Ciao!

  • Yes, that's better, but the problem remains that these news stories usually rely on very slim data, if any. I have come to stop myself whenever I feel the sweeping statement coming on and ask, just how many people do I know who feel that way vs. those who don't? Results often surprise

  • Thanks !!! for your comment.

    Got your point !

How about "many young women" rather than "young women"?
