About Larry Hoff:
Larry Hoff joined "The CW11 Morning News" as a live-action field reporter in June, 2000. With over a dozen years in front of the camera on New York Television, Hoff has carved out a reputation as a reporter who lives on the edge. He's climbed 800 feet above the Verrazano Bridge to change lightbulbs, hunted for alligators in the depths of the city's sewers, went two rounds with Ray "Boom Boom" Mancini, and joined a crew of steeplejacks atop an 88 story skyscraper-descending 30 stories with thema€|on a single rope! "I may be the best known test dummy in NY" says Hoff. Prior to joining The CW11 Morning News, Hoff worked at Fox 5's Good Day New York as a live action reporter. In addition to reporting for Good Day New York, Hoff has been a correspondent for Fox Network's Ultimate Challenge and host of Giants Gameday. Hoff graduated from the University of California at Santa Barbara with a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy and Economics. He broke into television in 1978 at NBC affiliate KYEL-TV in Yuma, Arizona, where he handled anchor, reporter, sports casting and weather duties. A year later, Hoff moved to ABC affiliate KGUN-TV in Tucson as anchor and Economics/Political reporter. In 1984, he joined WCMH-TV in Columbus, Ohio.
