  • It's an excellent piece. Well done and well written.

  • Wow this is really good!

  • Ryan,

Long ago, John Close was a friend of mine. I was not there the night of the incident about which this film is centered. I felt guilty about that for a long time. John had a major impact on my life, and I miss him daily. I am late to make this comment, but the film is superbly, and very tastefully done. I thank you for bringing thoughts of John back to the front of my mind. He was, and is, worth the effort.

    Thank you, Ryan

  • hmmm...i guess that's a compliment!

  • Very Johnny Cash.

  • RT - This was a great work! It felt real and I agree with the other person about the B&W working perfectly for this film, then the move to the color had a real impact!

  • Beautiful film. I really liked the way it builds and feels so honest. Good to hear from you and to know that you are "living the dream." ;)

  • Still gets me like the first time I saw it. I love it - send it on its way to work its magic on others...

  • Great Job Ryan! I really like the use of the B&W - then the switch to Color - It really ads impact to the subject matter. Nice shooting, nice acting, and nice editing! I would definately enter it into the festivals. Plus, enter the Tellys, Davies, and Webbys (since you now are on You Tube) also, I think the Emmy's are going to start having a special category for you tube videos. Anyway, great job and I hope all is well! Take Care!
