Memorial to my beloved pet ferret, Rolly. In loving memory, R.I.P. 2003-April 30, 2009

This is what it is. Any and I mean ANY negative comments will be removed without hesitation.

He died from a tumor around his prostrate, called Adrenal Disease from manufactured dry pet food. Ferrets are meant to be fed a natural diet of meat like frozen mice. My family rescued him from being put to sleep at a pound, because his first family knew he was sick, and didn't want to pay $1000 dollars for the surgery. He lived three more years, peacefully keeping us happy. This ferret NEVER bit ONCE in his life, unlike our first ferret, and many others. May he live on forever in the here-after, and be blessed by God, for his goodness and long suffering.

P.S. In the picture where it looks like I was choking him, I was not, he moved quickly to get away from the camera, oops! I only include it because I sadly have only a few pictures of him, due to his sickness and losing fur.

I can feel your pain. My ferret, Slinky, died last night. He was young, i only had him a little over 2 years. He had been sick about 2 or 3 months and he passed away suddenly last night. My family is having a memorial/burial for him later today. He was the 1st of 6 that i had. One of our 6 was put down, babyboo, last year. I am really sad about both of them. RIP to yours.

Thanks friend, I'm sorry for your loss too, this is only my second ferret to pass, but the heartache is equal for both of them.

i can feek your pain & i am so sorry for your lost. my ferret nibbles passed away october 3rd 2011 it was the worst day of my life i had to put him to sleep and he was also sick & got threw it when the vet said he woud live for only another year he lived 3/4 so he was wrong but i miss him so much we had the same birthday he is my bestfriend & i will never forget him <3 R.I.P Nibbles i will always love you

I feel your pain -\3 My first pet ferret died 12-21-10. Those numbers are GLUED to my brain, if anyone asks what date comes up first in my head, I say "12-21-10." Then they go, "Chillax Girl, it was just a pet ferret!" Aww I miss my little boy -3 R.I.P Gundam (: you lived a happy long life, I was glad to have you.

D00d. Rolly was a beautiful carpetshark! :3 Know he's waiting for yas at the rainbow bridge! And when Rolly sees ya and that reunion takes place, ohhh beware of that ferret war-dance o' joy, for it shall shake teh heavens! :3 Anyways, I feel for your loss, and I do hope you're coping as best as you can. Just be sure to treasure all the memories and what photos you gots of Rolly..for they are indeed what true treasure is!

But he has lasted 3 years and has a healthy coat and that's because he eats a lot.
