WMSR: Santa Train to Frostburg

On November 28th, 2009, Penn Rail Videos made a trek to Cumberland, Maryland, to catch the 11:30AM run of the Western Maryland Scenic Railroad's Santa Train to Frostburg, MD. The locomotive pulling the train today is none other than 'Mountain Thunder" herself, #734. This ex-LS&I 2-8-0 puts on an awesome show of steam power as we catch the train at a few spots heading up the mountain. We'll also see a few scenes from the morning, where 734 was being prepared in Ridgely Yard, just across the Potomac River in West Virginia. If you like big steam in the winter, then this is the video you won't want to miss!
