Anti-Ivy-Video - Soul Calibur 4

Hey, it's been a while I made any SC4 Video. In SC4 Ivy seems to be a huge problem for a lot of players. IMO, that's because her movelist is so huge and her universal arsenal allows her to adapt to almost any situation, That's why there's no universal answer against her.
This video shows you what you can do against her from Xianghua's point of view. But many things can be applied by other characters as well. how did you do Cl 1BB+K without changing into sword state?

When you hold A during CL 1BB+K you don't switch to SW. The same goes for other moves like WP 6B+K.

It's called stance lock. Ivyplayers use to say that it's a "special feature", I personally call it nothing but a bug. :) Would be much easier without it...

Can I 2A+K ivys 22K with astaroth as well?

You mean the Crouch Throws 2A+G/2B+G? Yes, every character that has crouch throws (Astaroth, Rock, Cassandra, Xianghua), can do that after blocking that low of Ivy.

lmao, wtf are you guys smoking? SC4 Ivy is outclassed and at a disadvantage against most if not all of the SC4 cast, even after learning her insanely difficult moveset and stance switches. Look at all the recent tournaments and high-level play in general, no one's winning tournaments with her anymore. I can't believe you guys needed to set up a whole support group just to beat this character.
