Ok, here we go. we had this old dirty Epi guitar that we've changed all the electronics out in. the guy we bought it from said it had a 57 classic in the neck. and the old pickup was in the case. well we got to looking and realized that we had been playing on the old epi pickup. it was the 57 that was in the case. but the sound of the neck pick up was pretty sweet. so we wanted to hear the difference. playing it through a Fender Blues DeVille 4x10 amp.

ALSO PLEASE CHECK OUT OUR OTHER VIDS ON HERE!
THANKS SO MUCH

  • What song is that you play at the end?

  • @mightymousekid its not really a song. just a blues riff to show the sound of the pickup/amp/guitar combo

  • Don't know if it's because of the recording but at moments I think you aren't in tune ????

  • @jp6l6 at the time we were having intonation problems with the guitar, but we got them worked out after we did this vid.

  • how would these pups handle fuzz?

  • @8SetMeFree8 i'm not a fuzz guy... so i wouldn't really be qualified to answer that. they handle overdrive pretty well... so i assume fuzz would be the same. but it would probably have something to do with what kinda fuzz you are running it through

  • well funny enough i'm not really sure what epiphone it is... its been sanded down and refinished so many times and all the original electronics have been taken out and all... and the bullet hole looking marks are actually real bullet holes... it was shot with a .38 it has some powder burn around the holes and one of the bullets is still lodged in it... so it is somewhat of a one of a kind Epi... thanks for the comment!

  • your an interesting cat. I like your style and love that guitar.

  • @bigdthegreat08 funny enough there was a huge fish tank in the same room... that's the water sound you hear.

  • @telecasterman18 there are cigarette burns as well on it... but the three spots in the butt of the guitar are the bullet holes.

  • @Glockenator a friend of mine that had it years ago. he wanted to put The Who bulls-eye on it but thought it would be funny if it was actually a target that someone shot at. his brother-in-law is a big gun guy... so they got what ever ammunition they needed to kind of go through the guitar, but not shatter it, went out into the woods... and this is what came back.

  • @TheSchoolsux345 its an old Epi that has been modified... a lot... not all good.. haha

  • @bassmangarrett151 the guy that had it before put that on there... it is an Epi for sure though

  • @TornDays1 the guy that had it before thought he was gonna "convert it" or something... its not a Gibson.

  • @Glockenator its not. its an old Epi Les Paul that has been.. Uhm... upgraded? haha... and its had the heck played out of it. the sticker on the headstock is fake.
