THIS IS IT! The final video in Maine HAS COME! Spring St is also the last crossing in Auburn! The crossing features 5 pairs of 8" Incandescant GRS flashers, 5 out of 6 gate lights are the rare WRRS lantern Gate lights. One gate light is a regular light. There are 2 WRRS mini-bells that ring together at the same time. Now the train is the LONGEST TRAIN I EVER RECORDED IN MAINE! There are SIX units leading the very long train. The leading unit is Guilford MEC 353. The 2nd unit is Guilford MEC 310. The 3rd unit is Guilford B&M 337. The 4th unit is Guilford B&M 335. The 5th unit is Guilford MEC 301. The Rear unit is Guilford MEC 379. If all of you saw my 2nd video (Hampshire St(Day)), that was my shortest train I ever recorded in Maine(Lewiston Juncion Rd #1 didn't cound because it was only 2 engines. No cars were on that train.) So this makes my last video in Maine, my longest. Very nice in my opinion. This is the last of my collection in Maine sadly. Though now all the videos that will come from me will be coming from Florida. Thanks for watching my Maine Collection, and enjoy my Florida Collection!

  • How could they shut the bells off on teardrop bells? That's only ONE reason why I hate CSX!

  • @177987auprr1 Teardrops?? Those are WRRS MIni Bells

  • WOW, This Crossing Looks So Much diffrent Today. The Building To The Right Is Long Gone, And It's Just A Field. You Can See The Crossing Along Troy ST.

  • @skyman2002 I figured that building would sooner or later dissappear. It was old, decaying, and likely a place where gangs hang out and do their deals. Has the crossing at all changed? This crossing is one of my favorites as it looks so old school.

  • @177987auprr1 well good sir, if you go to New Library Ave Day, You'll find a mini bell that rings all the way from start up to shut down! Problem is it only works half the year, its frozen in the winter

  • @Crossingman18 Oops, my mistake. I meant to say how could they shut the bells off when the gates close on mini bells!

  • It's the best for the last!

  • @jtd321 Yes I do believe Amtrak will be using the line once that situation is all taken care of, but chances are they wont touch the crossing as there's not a lot of traffic going in and out of there to really add new signals. I bet you anything they will leave the crossing alone, but then again, the crossings deep in bath near the Maine Eastern station in Bath were upgraded for no reason back in 2007, so only time will tell my friend.

  • @Crossingman18 I saw it in may and it was still there. But i think that is the line that Amtrak is going to use, and if it is they will most likely take it out.

  • @jtd321 sadly I didnt. The chances of getting that teardrop were very slim as it only gets 2 daily trains. My car was really beginning to have large mechanical failures as summer approached. It was 2 days after I got this crossing the car finally kicked the bucket. When I return to Maine in 2 years, I will likely return to that crossing to see if the ol thing is still there.
