Here's what it's like to edit video on the Motorola Xoom / Android 3.0 with the built-in Movie Studio application.

  • You can get the video from the external sd card by copying the file using a file manager.

  • @Pelle4495 I tried this too but wasn't able to access the card. I think that there is currently an issue reading the MicroSD card on the Xoom.

  • ;-( iMovie is so much better, I like Android much better but seriously, who let this software out the gate in the 1st. place. it is sooo unfinished. not even close to whats on the iPad2. I hope Google will fix this with an update. I have the Xoom & the iPad 2 & I like the Xoom better. I like the open source platform, just cant get that with apple.

  • interested to know how iMovie on the iPad competes. I've used a few pc based video editors that didn't have cutting up of a movie, so i'm not entirely surprised, but it is a major feature that's a huge time saver. Nice review!

  • Well they had to do something to compete with iMovie on iPad 2.
