Definately Retro! That's when the Pavilion first got the Rainbow, it was brand new!! Back before the Ripley's building was changed to the "broke" building. lol I was 6 years old in ' 87. The Rainbow was my favorite ride at the Pavilion, so even now when i go to Myrtle, i can't help but think of it sitting there on the corner where it did for so many years. Thanks for this video by the way!

OMG this could've been one of the many trips my family and I made to the coast when I was younger. We are currently trying to relive this with our children but it has changed so much! I wish it all was still like this! Thanks for posting this.

Thanks! I think this was sometime in the spring around March or April, judging from the crowds and the beach wear, much less crowded than in the middle of summer.
