  • Very cool. Does this guitar remind anyone else of Mountain Dew?

  • I wish I could post a sweeping vid. Out of all the techniques on guitar, along with good alt picking technique it definitely is one of the most infuriating to get right but one day it just sits :)

Try playing it along to a backing track, I always found that when i did it along to actual music it helped for some reason. I think it just puts you in the right frame of mind to do it :)

  • A Roscoe S2000. I once owned several. 25-inch scale, 24-frets. Played like butta.

  • I WANT THAT GUITAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • THIS GUY TAUGHT ME!

  • I know a lot of people that "can sweep" but can write music to save their lives. Go figure....

  • John, Didn;'t recognize you. I remember getting your instructional stuff was back in the late 80's when you had the rock stash! Good to see you still doing the guitar education.

  • no me gusto

  • I have been practicing them. Cant really do it yet but it helps to hold the pick very lightly (my pick is a .60 dunlop thickness) and turn it 45 degrees to the string so it does not bite into the string and get stuck or pluck too hard. It helps to roll and glide the pick over the string lightly.

  • isnt that basicly sweeping?

  • hes so cool

but i hate the setting these rock/metal dvds are recorded, its kinda dark, but also feels vintage

  • when i was an intermediate player i learned it
