Chief Nursing officer, Barbara Summers takes us on a tour of the newly opened 16th floor in MD Anderson's Alkek Hospital..."Cribs" style. It is the first inpatient unit to open as part of the nine floors added to the Hospital. Additional inpatient floors will open gradually after the first of the year, as well as an observation deck and patient sitting area on the 24th floor. The expansion includes 503,000 square feet of new construction and will provide an additional 389 inpatient beds,
