Saw them in Philly in 1968 - great shows, great band - $3 a show, two sets, two nights at the original Electric Factory. Janis should never have left. Still have them on vinyl, along with CDs. Loved the music then and it still sounds great today. He is missed by all who loved the band - Kharmu Darla - 9-10-11

This is great...BBHC never sounded the same without him. Not even close. The first time I heard him in '67 I knew exactly where he was coming from.....Decades later he sent me a letter that said," I don't do this for money, Brother, I do it for Love." What more is there to say?
He'll always be alive in my own sound and I'm glad he and other's like him were there to show me that things really could be different if you wanted them to be..
