Company Profile
In 1967 a few venturesome people established the legal predecessor of the company, an industrial cooperation. Our business is still owned by Hungarian private persons. The main profile of our company is the manufacturing of chemical commercial products, more precisely: products in connection with vehicle maintenance and care, and the production of aerosol sprays. The scope of our activities entails research, development, production, sale, shipping and distribution of our products.
Our Products
We manufacture more than 250 products, mainly developed in our laboratories. The products fall in 6 categories: 1. Vehicle maintenance, operation and care is represented by the following product lines:PREVENT, PRELIX, KENTAUR
2. Aerosol Paint Cans: MAESTRO, PREVENT
3. Household cleaning products: HIPPOLIT
4. Insect killers and repellents: KAMPEC
5. Auxiliary materials for construction and assembly: PROFIX
6. Electronic equipment care: CHIPS
Research and product development
Research and product development plays a crucial role in the strategy of our company. Our products fulfil the needs of our customers because they are the result of our effort to combine the expertise of our research chemists accumulated in the past three decades with the most up-to-date technologies. Our chemists submit their newest findings to meticulous testing before putting a new product on the market. Quality, safety and environment protection are preferred criteria in our new developments. Besides attaching great importance to the choice of agents and ingredients of our products we also care about their packaging and production development.

The ISO 9001:2000 Quality System stands for the quality assurance of our products. It is our principle to provide top quality products satisfying the needs of our customers. To our greatest satisfaction the remarks and reports we receive from our customers and partners show their satisfaction. In order to achieve best quality we select our suppliers with great care. They are among the best known European and Hungarian producers of base materials and packaging materials. Quality is not limited to our products; we try to achieve the highest standards in our services as well.
Technology and Production
We manufacture our products at our Szeged based factory according to the European safety and environmental regulations. Thanks to continual development, our great capacity production lines comply with the most up-to-date technology standards. The control system complies with the requirements of the ISO 14001 Standard and this falls completely in line with our efforts to protect the environment. We believe that our aims are reflected by the appearance of our factory.
Domestic market
Medikémia occupies a leading position on the domestic market of fluids and chemicals for vehicles. Our regional sales representatives are at the service of merchants and users providing help and useful information. We have an extended logistic system covering the whole of Hungary. Our Products are available at most petrol stations (MOL, SHELL, ESSO, LUK OIL, OMW, etc.) and in large store chains like CORA, METRO, TESCO, AUCHAN, BAUMAX, OBI and PRAKTIKER
Export
Our dynamically increasing export principally targets our EU neighbour countries like Rumania, Serbia, Slovakia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Bulgaria and Croatia.
In Rumania our products are available at the following petrol stations and store chains: PETROM-V, LUKOIL, MOL, ROMPETROL, METRO, CARREFOUR, CORA and PRAKTIKER.
On basis of the experiences we have accumulated during the past four decades and on basis of our technological proficiency we believe that we are qualified to produce Private Label products.
