  • Actually, there is slot in this lake. You cannot keep any black bass between 14 and 18 inches long. Anything else legal, you can.

I let 'im go. By Midnight, I didn't have anything else in the box to speak of, anyway. ;-)

  • i just went fishing their today and caught a 8.6 pound large mouth as well as a 5.4 large mouth using a red eye shad about 2 feet under the surface in a gold color

  • That is not a Guadalupe bass. There are none in Lake Georgetown.

  • wat bait did u use?

  • Nice catch...me and my boyfriend go out to fish almost every weekend there at lake georgetown :)

  • Fishing Regulations

Most species are currently managed with statewide regulations. The exception is a 14 - 18 inch slot limit for largemouth bass. Bass 14 inches and less or 18 inches and greater can be retained. The daily bag limit for all four species of black bass is 5 in combination.

I always use the catch take a picture and release method. It is hella fun tearing up the white bass.

  • I bet he took it home and ate it
